Diverse Leadership Programme Offer

We are delighted to share that, following the recent staff questionnaires on development opportunities and career pathways, we are now able to offer a targeted leadership development programme for Black and Global Majority staff.

In partnership with The Belonging Effect, we are launching a Diverse Leadership Package comprising two cohorts:

1. Existing middle leaders seeking progression to senior leadership roles.
2. Classroom teachers aspiring to move into middle leadership positions.

This programme offers dedicated coaching, guidance, and a supportive network to help participants progress confidently in their careers. We recognise that Sheffield schools are not representative of the communities they serve, and this initiative is a meaningful step towards addressing this.

Please note that candidates will require the support of their headteacher. If you have suitable individuals in mind or any staff who express a wish to take up this programme, I encourage you to begin discussions with them and confirm their interest. Places are limited and demand is expected to be high. The course will commence in September 2026 and is fully funded.
