Bespoke Support

Our associates can offer bespoke consultancy for schools and trusts, as a one-off session or part of a subscription package. Consultancy time can be used for support with computing, developing an AI strategy or effective use of educational technology across the curriculum. We can also provide support for the Design Technology curriculum – please email for more details.

The Sheffield SEND Computing Scheme of Work is a comprehensive, flexible Computing scheme of work for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), in particular those working below age expectations. It includes activities for a range of abilities, from those students working on an informal or semi-formal curriculum below national curriculum levels, to students working at Key Stage 1 level. It also includes units to stretch more able students, including a number of Scratch units.

The Computing Lead Network Meetings will run remotely, one per term, and cover the latest updates in the subject, useful resources and an opportunity to build networks with other schools. For course information, see the Training tab.

The Community of Practice will run remotely, one per term, and will promote networking between schools and provide support for delivery of qualifications, moderation and enrichment ideas.

Consultancy time may be used for developing an effective computing curriculum to meet the needs of your learners, coaching for teachers new to subject leadership, moderation for GCSE Computer Science, raising attainment in all key stages, supporting non-specialists in computing, developing an AI strategy.
