Diversity & Equity Festival Recordings Online

Autumn 2 Leader Briefing now available

It contains an update on the Educating for the Future pilot, an input from Huntington Research School and the Learn Sheffield Improvement team, updates from the Developing Healthy Attitudes project, Eat Smart Sheffield and Sheffield Music Hub and a summary of what's coming up at Learn Sheffield in the second half of the autumn term. |

The Leadership of Primary Writing

The article draws on some of the key points covered in the Strategic Leadership of Primary Writing Course, which is available to schools as part of their subscription in 2022/23. |

Black History Learning Resources Pack Available

The Sheffield African Heritage Culture Forum have curated a learning resources pack to support Black History Month in 2023. This pack is available free of charge and can be used all year round. |

RSHE Training Offer 2023/24 Launched

AI in Education Meeting

The next AI in Education meeting will be held at Learn Sheffield on Thursday 5th October, 4.00-5.30pm. During the meeting we will work in different groups (according to phase but also particular interest, e.g. inclusive practice, reducing workload in admin tasks, assessment etc). to start to collate ideas and decide upon a particular intervention to trial in school over the autumn term. This will then form the basis for simple case studies for other staff to be able to use across the city. |

Making the Most of the Learn Sheffield Subscription

Governance Engagement Project Launched

Learn Sheffield is working in partnership with SASGB (Sheffield Association of School Governing Bodies) and SCC (Sheffield City Council) on a pilot project to promote governance engagement. The pilot will run for one year and seek to increase the pipeline of people who are interested in becoming involved in the governance of Sheffield settings. |

Autumn 1 Leader Briefing Available

The first Leader Briefing of 2023/24 is now available. It includes an input from Greg Fell on the Director of Public Health’s Annual Report, inputs from Learn Sheffield's CEO, Stephen Betts, on how to make the most of your subscription and some Ofsted updates. We have the first of this year's inputs from Huntington Research School on metacognition and several project updates, including updates on RSHE, hate crime, Pathfinder, the Clinical Research Network and resources regarding dental health. |

Sheffield Agreed Syllabus Launch

Sheffield SACRE will launch the new Sheffield Agreed Syllabus in the autumn on Tuesday 31 October 2023. The launch will be a full day (9:30am – 3:00pm) and the venue will be confirmed in the autumn. Colleagues can save the date and book a place now! |
