RSHE Training Offer 2023/24 Launched

The RSHE training programme for 2023/24 is now online. The 13 sessions have been developed in response to feedback and seek to target the issues that settings currently face in developing their RSHE provision.

The full list of sessions is below and colleagues can find out more about each session through the link above. All of the sessions will take place in person at Learn Sheffield as twilight sessions (4.00-5.30pm).

  • PSHE and PSED in the Early Years (9 November)
  • Reducing Misogyny, Gender Inequality and Sexual Harassment (23 November)*
  • PSHE: Preparing for Ofsted (31 January)
  • PSHE in Post-16 Settings (1 February)
  • Parental Engagement- working with parents to support RSHE (21 February)
  • Mental Wellbeing, mental health and bereavement (29 February)
  • Puberty and Sex Education in Context (18 April)
  • Gangs, Knife Crime and County Lines in PSHE (23 April)
  • Reducing Discrimination including in the context of Faith and Culture (9 May)
  • Personal Development Strategic Overview (21 May)
  • Drugs Education in PSHE (4 July)
  • PSHE for children with SEND in mainstream and special schools (11 July)

This programme builds on the RSHE training programmes of the last three years. The content has been developed in response to feedback and has become increasingly targeted to the issues and challenges that our settings face.
