We are predominantly working with three colleagues on this programme: Ruth Swailes, Deb Page and Angela Lant.

Ruth Swailes will be leading a number of sessions starting in the spring term, including the below sessions.

Effective Assessment in the Early Years will take place on Friday 19 January from 9.00am-12.00pm  Book here

Supporting Children’s Social and Emotional Development During the EYFS Years is an extended training course (three half day sessions plus online reflective practice sessions) which is being offered by Deb Page and Samantha Hallewell. The first session will take place on Wednesday 29 November. Book here

Early Years Literacy Development  is being offered by Angela Lant and is based on the EEF’ Preparing for Literacy’ guidance report. There will be time to explore the 7 areas of the report and how these relate to specific settings. This is a half day course with the option of a full day of follow up in individual settings.

Please contact bookings@learnsheffield.co.uk for further information and to book a place.

A Bespoke Early Years Professional Development Offer is also offered by Angela Lant. It consists of a series of 6 school visits throughout the year with a bespoke programme aimed at developing the leaders understanding of all aspects of Early Years. This professional development programme could be run as a 1:1 package, as a development for all the leaders of Early Years in a Trust, a collaboration of Early Years leaders and Headteacher, deputy or assistant Headteacher.

This training would be suitable for individuals or small groups of leaders. Please contact bookings@learnsheffield.co.uk for further information.

Learn Sheffield subscribing schools will have unlimited access (subject to availability) for this programme, other than the bespoke offer. For non-subscribing schools, each session will be charged at £95 per person.
