COVID Recovery Festival Line-Up Published

The first batch of events in the Learn Sheffield COVID Recovery Festival have been published with a wide range of speakers and topics. All of the sessions will be online and also recorded for participating schools to access and use when it is convenient for them.

Learn Sheffield will be holding a series of events to focus on COVID recovery throughout September. All of the sessions in the 'COVID Recovery Festival: Catching Up & Cracking On' will be online and also recorded for participating schools to access and use when it is convenient for them.

The first batch of sessions have been published and include:

  • Director of Public Health, Greg Fell providing a timely update to kick off events.
  • Sir David Carter discussing issues for school leaders to consider.
  • Jenny Mosely talking about the role of empathy and listening in COVID recovery.
  • Healthy Minds lead Zoe Brownlie tackling mental health issues.
  • Marc Rowland discussing the widening disadvantaged gap.
  • David Bartram sharing the implications of COVID for leading SEND.   
  • A range of local partners addressing key topics ... including Create Sheffield, PESSPA Alliance & the Sheffield Music Hub.
