Following the email last week announcing the postponement of the Sheffield Governance Conference in May, please find attached the details of revised date which is scheduled for Saturday 29 June 2019, 9.30-12.30pm. The confirmed venue is Learn Sheffield, Lees Hall Road, Sheffield, S8 9JP.

Following the email last week announcing the postponement of the Sheffield Governance Conference in May, please find below details of revised date which is scheduled for Saturday 29 June 2019, 9.30-12.30pm.  The confirmed venue is Learn Sheffield, Lees Hall Road, Sheffield, S8 9JP.

 

We are delighted to announce that Emma Knights, the Chief Executive of the National Governance Association (NGA) will be joined by Estelle Morris, the former Secretary of State for Education and Skills and current chair of the Birmingham Education Partnership. Emma and Estelle will be the keynote speakers for this event.  The title of the conference is ‘What are the key governance priorities now?’ and we hope that it conference will provide colleagues with a valuable and stimulating opportunity to consider priorities for Governing Bodies and Trust Boards at this pivotal time in education.
